Teachers are encouraged to acquire technology to enhance teaching.
But be realistic – don’t forget to count the costs beforehand – consider the total cost of ownership.

Yes and include the ADSL bill. Teacher’s are going to need it. If they bought Apple MAC’s or Linux machines, the problems with viruses would be minimal. Many are paying in lost data due to viral activity on Windows. Virus checkers seem not to preform that effective as well as the fact that people do not update them frequently.
